Obituary- Stephan, Katherine 2

Katherine “Pat” Stephan Katherine Carolyn “Pat” Collins Stephan, 64, Rossville, died Tuesday, April 4, 1955, at a Topeka hospital.

She was born in Chicago, Ill. October 20, 1930, the daughter of James and Mae Bloom Collins.

Mrs. Stephan was a homemaker. She served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.

She was a member of the Catholic Church, Auxiliary member of the Disabled American Veterans, member of the Walt Disney Club, and American Diabetes Association.

She married Roland C. “Steve” Stephan in Arlington, VA February 6, 1952. He survives at the home.

Other survivors include one son, James Lee Stephan, Overland Park; one daughter, Joan Marie Temple, Topeka; three brothers, Ray Collins, Dick Collins and Phillip “Gene” Collins, all of Des Moines, IA; one sister, Dorothy Fish, Des Moines, IA; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Stephan was cremated. A memorial service was held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.
