Obituary- Stovall, William
ALFRED STOVALL DIES SUDDENLY
William Alfred Stovall, living on Route 4, Topeka, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon while working in a harvest field.
Mr. Stovall was born September 6, 1879, in Rossville and had lived in the Rossville and Topeka communities his entire life.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ada E. Stovall, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. George Mechalis, of McFarland, Kansas, and Mrs. Charles Morris, living, in California; one son, W. O. Stovall, Lawrence, Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. C. A. Wallace and I Mrs. Ida Navarre, both of Topeka; two half sisters, Mrs. Emma Anchorman, Elmont, and Mrs. Anna Bushey, Topeka; two stepsisters, Mrs. L. L. Henderson, Omaha; Mrs. M. L. Whearty, Rossville; and six grandchildren
Funeral services were held at the Wall-Diffenderfer funeral home this Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock Burial in Rossville cemetery.
