Obituary- Brennan, Roderick
Services were held Monday at Immaculate Conception Church for Roderick W. Brennan, 42, formerly of St. Marys, was found dead Nov. 10 in his apartment at New York, New York.
The death was attributed to a massive coronary.
Born Sept. 16, 1929, at Belvue, he had been in the Coast Guard 20 years and served in Vietnam. He held the rank of chief yeoman when he retired. Mr. Brennan currently was employed as a bookkeeper by a New York stock exchange.
He was married to Joyce Navarre Jan. 16, 1954, at St. Marys.
Other survivors include two sons: Francis Brennan and Paul Brennan, both of Rossville; two daughters: Lisa Ann Brennan and Colleen Brennan, both of Rossville; his parents: Mr. and Mrs. Edward F. Brennan, Sr., St. Marys.
He also leave three brothers: Dr. James Brennan, Edward F. Brennan Jr., both of St. Marys; two sisters: Mrs. Catherine Heim, St. Marys; and Mrs. Rosemary Fulmer, Dubuque, Iowa.
Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery by the Verschelden Funeral Home.
The pallbearers: James Keefe, James Riat, John Fulmer, Belvue; Leo Berry, Rossville; Robert Heim, St. Marys; Ben Wano Jr., Kansas City, Missouri.
