Obituary- Thomas, Charles Frank
Charles Thomas Dead
Charles F. Thomas aged 53 years died at his home here yesterday morning. The cause of his death was Bright's disease. Mr. Thomas has been confined to his home for several months and his death was not unexpected. Funeral services were held from the home this afternoon at 2 o'clock, the sermon being preached by Rev. F.S. Eastman of the United Presbyterian church. Interment was made in the Benson cemetery.
Charles Frank Thomas was born in Crawfordsville, Ind. February 14, 1861, and while a boy removed with his parents to Kansas where at the age of 19 he was married to Miss Anna Wheeler. To this union three children were born. Jennie, Joseph E., deceased and Robert S.
Mr. Thomas had been troubled with Bright's disease for several years and in 1920 removed from Kansas to Washington in the hope that the change of climate would improve his health. He had lived at Everett, Oak Harbor and Puyallup before coming to Prosser about a year ago. Mr. Thomas has been confined to the home since October and the end came peacefully yesterday morning.
Mr. Thomas was a loving father, a good husband and a faithful friend and will be greatly missed in the town and community. The family has the sympathy of all.

Mr. Thomas will be remembered by many peo0ple of Rossville and vicinity as he lived west of Rossville at different times for ten years, leaving this vicinity about 6 years ago. During the flood he occupied the old Ben Higginbotham place southwest of Rossville. He lived at different times also on the farm just north of Joe Parr's farm and on the old DuClause farm.
