Marlin C. "Keah" Thomas
DELIA - Marlin C. “Keah” Thomas, 67, Delia, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at St. Francis Health Center in Topeka. Mr. Thomas was a retired carpenter and had worked for several years as maintenance supervisor for the Prairie Band Nation Reservation. He was a veteran of the Navy and served two tours in Vietnam. He was a member of the Prairie Band of Potawatomi Nation and the Drum Religion. Survivors include a sister, LeVeda Wahweotten, Hoyt; brothers, Dale “Nowatin" Thomas, Brimley, Mich., Charles “Babe” Thomas, Delia, Melvin Thomas, Topeka, Bob Hubbard, Lawrence, and John Pewamo, Hoyt; his father, Andy Mitchell; and 24 nieces and nephews Drum Services will be Friday evening at the Danceground on the Prairie Band of Potawatomi Nation Reservation, southwest of Mayetta. Burial will be Saturday morning at the Danceground Cemetery, also southwest of Mayetta. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
