Ina R. Thompson
SILVER LAKE – Ina R. Thompson, 72, Silver Lake, died Monday, Sept. 23, 1991, at her home.

Miss Thompson was a nurse and instructor at Christ Hospital and later Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka from 1945 until 1976 until she retired in 1983.

She was born Jan. 4, 1919, near Delia, the daughter of Nels and Alta Keller Thompson. She was graduated from High Prairie Grade School, Delia High School, then in 1945 from Christ Hospital School of Nursing, Topeka.

Miss Thompson attended the United Methodist Church in Silver Lake. She was a member of American Nurses Association and Kansas Nurses Association.

Survivors include two sisters, Christian Bowers, Delia, and Emma Bowers, Silver Lake.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Silver Lake. Burial will be in Adrian Cemetery north of Delia. Miss Thompson will lie in state after 2 p.m. today at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. today. She later will lie in state an hour before service time at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church in Silver Lake.

Miss Thompson attended the United Methodist Church in Silver Lake. She was a member of American Nurses Association and Kansas Nurses Association.

Services were at 10 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Silver Lake. Burial was in Adrian Cemetery north of Delia.

Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys was in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church in Silver Lake.
