Obituary- Brockamp, Edward

Edward Henry Brockamp, 87, Morrisonville, Ill., passed away Monday March 19,2012, at Taylorville Care Center.
He was born Sept. 7, 1924 in Morrisonville, the son of Joseph Henry and Christina Walch Brockamp.
He married Nita J. Anderson, April 19, 1951, in St. Maurice catholic Church, Morrisonville. She preceded him in death July 29, 2003.
Also preceding him in death were his parents, granddaughter Amanda Deardorff; and brothers Harold and Leon Brockamp.
Ed Farmed and worked at Morrisonville Farmers Co-op as an outdoor supervisor, retiring August 1988. He was a member of St. Maurice Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus council 1151. He was past board member of both Morrisonville Farmers Co-op and Kitchell Memorial Library.
Survivors include daughter Brenda (Kenton) Deardorff, Morrisonville; son Mark (Barbara) Brockamp, Rossville; grandchildren Adam (Jessica) Deardorff; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass was held Thursday, March 22, at St. Maurice Catholic Church, Morrisonville, with Rev. Gerald Bunse officiating.
Burial was in St. Maurice Catholic Cemetery, Morrisonville.
