Obituary- Trostle, Mary
MRS. ISAAC TROSTLE
Mary Elizabeth Gutshall Trostle, aged 67 years, 1 month and 8 days, passed away at the family home west of Rossville, Kansas, Sunday, August 11 at 10 a. m., after an illness of several years. She had been under treatment in Christ hospital, Topeka for fifteen weeks prior to her arrival home the day before her decease.
Mrs. Trostle was well-known having been a resident of this community for nearly 40 years.
She was born at Blaine, Pa., July 3, 1862. She was married to Isaac Trostle on December 3, 1889 and in the spring of 1890 they came to Rossville, where they had lived since. To this union four children were born, all of whom, with the husband survive to mourn her departure—David Leroy Trostle, at home; Mrs. Edith M. Potter, Siloam Springs, Ark.; Mrs. Emma R. Searcy, Belvue, Kansas; Mrs. Laura E. Feyh, Des Moines, Ia. There are also two brothers, John P. Gutshall, Rossville; Silas W. Gutshall Blaine, Pa.; and two sisters, Ella D. Gutshall and Ida M. Irwin of Blaine Pa.; eleven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was a member of the Presbyterian church of Rossville, Kan., in which the funeral service was held conducted by the Rev. G. G. Horne. The body was interred in the Rossville cemetery. The pall bearers were Messrs. Harvey James, Ira Hopkins, John Kesler, Gus Kassebaum, John Reid and A. B. Jamieson.

D. Reed, Topeka; Misses Geraldine and Grace Edith Reed, Topeka; Mrs. Bert Welch, Topeka; Mrs. Francis Weigand, Topeka; Misses Emma Anderson and Belle Dufford, Topeka; Mrs. R. E. Holstrom, Mrs. E. G. Holstrom, Mrs. A. Holstrom and Mrs. C. Holstrom, all of Topeka; Mrs. Mickel, Topeka; the relatives here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Carol Gutshall, White City, Kan.; Mr. and Mrs. L. Feyh, Des Moines, Iowa; Mrs. W. O. Potter and daughter, Alice May, of Siloam Springs, Ark.; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Searcy and family of Belvue, Kansas.
