Florence L. Tuller
Florence L. Tuller, 96, Rossville, died Saturday, March 21, 2009, at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.

She was born Nov. 6, 1912, at Delia, the daughter of Anton and Frances Novasad Macha. She grew up in the Delia community where she attended school.

Mrs. Tuller had worked at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka for many years before retiring. She had lived in the Rossville community since 1951. Mrs. Tuller was a member of the Rossville Presbyterian Church where she had served many years as an elder.

She was married to Oliver F. Tuller on May 1, 1933, in Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1976. She was also preceded in death by a son, James Oliver Tuller, a granddaughter, Christy Gough, her brother Joe Macha and a sister, Stella George.

Survivors include two sons, Ed (Marylyn) Tuller, Topeka and Dennis (Linda) Tuller, Frankfort, Ill.; four daughters, Lorraine (James) VandeVelde, Emmett, Carol (Joseph) VandeVelde, Rossville, Donna (Gary) Klotz, Hoyt, and Bonnie (Charley) Wright, Mazatlan, Mexico; six grandchildren and 13 great-grand-children.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, March 27, at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys.

Interment will be in the Rossville Cemetery. Mrs. Tuller will lie in state after 4 p.m., Thursday, March 26, at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
