Obituary- Ulrich, Norman 2
Norman “Butch” Ulrich
Norman W. “Butch” Ulrich, 49, Rossville, died Tuesday at a Topeka hospital. He had cancer.
He was born March 14, 1933, at Wilson, the son of Charles N. and Phyllis Brenner Ulrich, and lived in Rossville 10 years.
Mr. Ulrich was an electrician and a Navy veteran of the Korean conflict.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Jimmy Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion, both at Rossville. He also was a member of National Rifle Association and Local No. 226 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Topeka.
He was married to Marquetta Duley July 20, 1973, at Rossville. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Rick Norman Ulrich, Topeka, and Tim P. Ulrich, Hutchinson; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Diana Dee Pummill and Mrs. Donna Dean Cromwell, both in Topeka; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Jimmy Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion will conduct graveside services at Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka. Relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3003 Van Buren, 66611, or National Rifle Association, 1600 Rhode Island Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20036.
