Raphael A. ‘Ray’ Umscheid
ROSSVILLE — Raphael A. “Ray” Umscheid, 94, Rossville, formerly of Manhattan and Flush, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 1993, at a Rossville nursing home.

Memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Flush. Mr. Umscheid donated his body to the University of Kansas Medical Center for research. Inurnment will be at a later time. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. followed by Knights of Columbus Rosary Monday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Flush or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego is in charge of arrangements.
