Obituary- Vacek, Mary 1

Mrs. Mary Vacek
DELIA - Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church here for Mrs. Mary Vacek, 78, Glen Elder, who died Saturday in a Beloit hospital.

She was born Dec. 27, 1888, at Emmett and lived in the Delia community many years before she moved to Glen Elder in Mitchell County. She attended the Presbyterian Church at Delia.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Sophie Cox, Glen Elder; two sons, John Vacek, Junction City, and Joe Vacek, Manhattan; two brothers, Joseph Kalcik, Silver Lake, and Edward Kalcik, Scranton; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Saia, Emmett, and Mrs. Christina Saia, Delia; a grandson, and a granddaughter.

Burial will be in Czech Moravian Cemetery northeast of Rossville. Domoney Funeral Home at Downs is in charge of arrangements.
