Frank F. Van Vleck
Frank F. Van Vleck, 76, Topeka, died Friday, February 22, 1991, at a Topeka hospital.
Mr. Van Vleck served in the Army from 1940 until 1961, when he retired with the rank of master sergeant. He served during World War II and Korea and was later stationed in Germany. He also was manager of South Topeka Van Vleck Auto Supply Store for 20 years.
He was born January 26, 1915, at Rossville, the son of Walter and Bessie Edith Gutshall Van Vleck. He was graduated Froth Rossville High School in 1933.
Mr. Van Vleck was a member of American Legion Capitol Post No. 1 and Moose Lodge No. 555.
He was married to Naomi Faye Patterson on September 15, 1942, at Holton. She died in 1977.
Survivors include two sons, Frank Darrel Van Vleck, Mari-etta, Ga., and Ronald Alan Van Vleck, Topeka; a sister, Gladys Chilson, Federal Way, Wash.; three brothers, Walter L. Van Vleck, Topeka, Marvin Van Vleck, Athens, Ga., and Omer Van Vleck, Rossville; and four grandchildren.
Services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday (today) at Parker-Price Mortuary. Military honors were conducted by Philip Billard Post No. 1650, Veterans of Foreign Wars at Topeka Patio Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 4300 Drury Lane, Topeka, 66604.

Frank F. Van Vleck, 76, Topeka, died Friday, Feb. 22, 1991, at a local hospital.
