Obituary- Weybrew, Martin 2


MARTIN WEYBREW, JR.
Martin G. Weybrew, Jr., 32, a resident of the Rossville community since 1965, died Saturday, August 5, 1978, in a Topeka hospital where he was admitted July 30. He underwent knee surgery a few weeks ago and suffered an apparent pulmonary embolism Saturday.

He was born November 16, 1945, at Wamego where he spent his early life. He was a machinist and was employed by Brackett Inc., in Topeka. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Rossville.

He was married to Helen M. Wehner September 11, 1965, at Rossville. She survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Barbara Weybrew and Bridget Weybrew, both at home; a son, Paul Weybrew, at home; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Weybrew, Sr., Wamego.

Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday (this morning) at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Rossville. Burial was in Rossville Cemetery. Casket bearers were Vincent Martinek, Dennis Colson, Howard Parr, all of Rossville, Verlon Cress and Oren Kovar, Delia, and James Doyle, Topeka.

Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Monday at Verschelden Funeral Home at St. Marys. Contributions may be made to the Martin Weybrew, Jr., Memorial Fund yet to be designated by relatives and sent in care of the funeral home at St. Marys.
