CARD OF THANKS - We wish to thank all of our friends and neighbors for kind acts, flowers, food and tasks performed for us during the illness and death of our father and brother, Charles (Press) White. We wish to express special thanks to the Masonic Lodge, American Legion Post, Pallbearers and Rev. Don Jones for the lovely service. Also Mrs. Don Jones, Mrs. H. D. Richardson and Mrs. Joe Campbell for the music.

Charles White,
Rossville, Dies;
Rites Pending
ROSSVILLE — Charles P. White, 78, Rossville, died Saturday in a Topeka hospital after a short illness.

He was born in Jackson County Jan. 24, 1884, and had lived in Rossville and the Vicinity most of his life.

Mr. White was a charter member of the Rossville Masonic Lodge and was a past master. He served with the Marine Corps during World War I.

Survivors include a daughter, Doris Townsend of South San Francisco, Calif.; a son, William White of San Rafael, Calif.; one granddaughter; two sisters, Mrs. Grace White of Rossville and Mrs. Daisy Rice of Casitas Springs, Calif.; and three brothers, Arthur White, South San Francisco, James White of Waukesha, Wis., and Norman White, Rossville.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Rossville Methodist Church with burial in Rossville Cemetery.

Penwell -Gabel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
