James White
Waukesha, Wis. -- Services and burial will be here for James A. White, 74, Waukesha, Wis., a native Kansan, who died Thursday in a rest home at Pewaukee, Wis. He had cancer.
He was born July 18, 1895, at Rossville, Kan., where he spent his early life. He was graduated from Rossville High School in 1913. He later taught in schools before he served in the Coast Guard in World War I.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alma White, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Charleen Evans, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Mrs. Maxine Carlson, Waukesha, Wis.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Felicia Gottlieb, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Mrs. Gwen Keppler, Waukesha, Wis., and two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Rice, Ventura, Calif., and Grace White, Rossville.
Services were held Monday, Nov. 10 for James A. White in Waukesha, Wisc. He died Thursday in a rest home in Peuaukee [sic], Wisc. He had been in ill health for the past year. He had cancer. He was born July 18, 1895 at Rossville, Kansas where he spent his early life. He was graduated from Rossville High School in 1913. He later taught school. He served in the Coast Guard in World War I. He is survived by his wife, Alma, at home, two daughters, Mrs. Charleen Evans, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Mrs. Maxine Carlson, Waukesha, Wisc.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Felicia Gottleib [sic], Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Mrs. Gwen Keppler, Waukesha, Wisc.; two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Rice, Ventura, California and Grace White, Rossville, Kansas.
