Obituary- Williams, Henry 1

Williams
Henry George "Hank” Williams,
56, Horton, was shot to death Tuesday, Dec. 8, 1987, at a mobile home in Horton. The shooting is being investigated by authorities.

Mr. Williams was a heavy equipment operator for Mission Township in Brown County. He formerly worked for Horton Hospital Ambulances.

He was born March 26, 1931, at Mayetta, the son of George and Helen Oliver Williams.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was active in the Little League program in Horton.

Survivors include a son, Willie Joe Williams, Lawrence; a daughter, Gwendolyn Williams, Fresno, Calif.; and six sisters, Cynthia Switch, Hamlin, Donis Keo, Topeka, Thamar Morris, Tijunga, Calif., Donna Wahquahboshkuk, Mayetta, and Helen Wilson and Sharon Pilcher, both of Delia.

Indian drum services were at 5 p.m. Friday at the old Kickapoo Community Building on the Kickapoo Reservation west of Horton. Burial was in the Wezo Cemetery near Mayetta. Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton is in charge of arrangements.
