Obituary- Wilt, Roy R. 1

ROY R. WILT
Roy R. Wilt, 73, Rossville, died Monday morning, August 15, 1983, at the St. Francis Hospital emergency room, Topeka.

He was born March 5, 1910, at Rossville, the son of Irwin B. and Anna Swearingen Wilt, and lived all his life in Rossville. He owned and operated the Wilt Oil Company for 47 years.

Mr. Wilt was a member of the
Rossville United Methodist Church, Hesperian Lodge #111, AF&AM, Rossville, and Moose Lodge #555, Topeka.

He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Russell Wilt, on December 3, 1975.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Wilt, of the home; one daughter, Lynda A. Wood, Rossville; a stepson, James Coe, Springfield, Ore.; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rossville United Methodist Church, Rossville, with Reverend D. Gene Damewood officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka. Interment will be in the Rossville Cemetery.
