Obituary- Wilt, Lillie

Lillie E. Wilt
Mrs. Lillie E. Wilt died, Friday, April, 26, in Stormont hospital, Topeka. She would have been 71 years of age next Sunday, May 5.

She was born in 1869 at Washington Indiana, the eldest daughter of John and Emma Ellis. Her parents came to Kansas when she Was a small child. She spent most of her life in Rossville and the surrounding community, with the exception of 4 years spent in Colorado and the past year in Topeka.

She was married to Reuben Lawrence Wilt of Rossville, on Jan. 18, 1900. To this union were born two daughters, Arlene Josephine and Ruby Alice. Mr. Wilt passed away in 1918.

Mrs. Wilt is survived by the two daughters, Mrs. Homer Reid of Rossville and Mrs. Edward Sawitzke, of Golden, Colo. One sister, Ethel Barron of Tucson, Ariz., and one grandson, Robert Reid of Rossville.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Rossville Presbyterian church, conducted by the Rev. H. L. Nelson of Topeka.
