Obituary- Wingert, Alton 2

Alton E. Wingert
Alton E. Wingert, 70, Rossville, died Friday, July 17, 1992, at his home.

Mr. Wingert was a salesman for Duffens Optical Company in Topeka. He retired in 1985.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He was born October 62 1921,
in Larned, the son of Roy and Edith Hainline Wingert.

Mr. Wingert was a member of the United Methodist Church, Rossville.

He was married to Betty Irene Raleigh September 14, 1941, in Lyons. She survives. A son, Brian Wingert, died in 1978.

Other survivors include a daughter, Rozann Tebo, Rossville; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday (today) at Verschelden Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday (today) at Windom Cemetery in Windom.

Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church in Rossville or Midland Hospice of Topeka.
