Obituary- Campbell, Jewell 2

ROSSVILLE - J.C. "Joe" Campbell, 70, Rossville, died Monday at a Rossville nursing home.
He was born Aug. 16, 1910, at Slater, Mo., the son of James and Edna Murry Campbell, and lived in the Rossville community since 1937. Mr. Campbell farmed north of Rossville until he retired.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church and Hesperian Lodge No. 111, AF&AM, both of Rossville.
He married Irene Bond Aug. 8, 1937, at Topeka. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jan Miller, Missoula, Mont.; a son, Art Campbell, Rossville, a sister, Naomi Campbell, Concord, Calif., a brother, Jimmy Campbell, Dallas, Texas, and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rossville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. The family will meet with friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Wed. at Parker-Price Mortuary. The casket will be closed at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Rossville United Methodist Church, Rossville, 66533.
