Birthday- Horak, Benjamin

Bennie Horak of Delia will celebrate his 80th birthday on Sept. 24 with a card shower.

Mr. Horak was born and grew up on his parents' farm east of Delia, where he has farmed throughout his life. He retired in 1983 from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. after 21 years of service.

He and his wife, Sara, have been meter readers for Kaw Valley Electric Cooperative in Topeka since 1971.

Their son, Don Horak, lives in Delia, and their daughter, Peggy Workman, lives in Manchester, Ky. They have four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

His birthdate is Sept. 24. Birthday greetings may be sent to Mr. Horak at 3985 106th Road, Delia, 66418-9790.
