Cordina Sue Smith and Michael Shane Bird exchanged marriage vows June 24, 1995, at the United Methodist Church in Rossville. The Rev. Ken Rogers officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Larry F. and Susan L. Smith, Topeka, and Merle and Jeanne Bird, Rossville.

Dawn Frey, Topeka, was matron of honor, and the bridesmaids were Karri McKinsey, Lenexa; Katherine Cahill, Topeka; and Brooke Bird, Rossville.

Tony Trimble, Rossville, was best man. The groomsmen were Sean Bird and Danny Bird, both of Rossville; and Daryl Kramer, Winchester.

Amanda Jo Cahill, Topeka, was the flower girl, and Christopher Bird, Rossville, was the ring bearer. Serving as ushers were Paul Weybrew, John Cahill and Bill Frey, all of Topeka, and Chris Tomson, Delia. The soloists were Gary Smith, Washburn, Ill., and Jeanie Wade, Liberal.

The reception hostesses were Shannon McDowell, Lawrence; Donna Kassing, Lenexa; and Jennifer Johnson, Kingwood, Texas.

The bride is a graduate of Silver Lake High School and the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is an insurance agent at Total Insurance Inc. in Topeka.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Rossville High School. He is employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Topeka.

The couple live in Topeka.
