Thurman Log Cabin Church in Branson, Mo., was the setting for the wedding of Frances C. Martin and David S. Broxterman on March 4, 1996.

The Rev. Dick Viney officiated at the 5:15 p.m. ceremony.

The couple’s parents are Charles and Beverly Martin, Mayetta, and Robert and Ann Broxterman, Silver Lake.

The bride is a graduate of Royal Valley High School, Hoyt, and Kaw Area Technical School with a certificate in office technology. She is a control clerk at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas in Topeka.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Rossville High School and Kaw Area Technical School with a certificate in auto mechanics. He is an automotive technician at Village Service in Silver Lake.

The couple live in Silver Lake.
