Obituary- Burgett, Rita

Mrs. Rita Mae Burgett, 64, Topeka, died Sat., Jan. 25, 1986, at a Topeka hospital. She was born Jan. 10, 1922 at Blue Rapids, the daughter of Earl and Helen McCoy Buckles. She lived in Topeka since 1941.
Mrs. Burgett was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, the Women's Club of the church and formerly was active in the Mother's Club at Hayden High School.
She was married to Joseph W. Burgett Sept. 12, 1940 at Delia. He survives. Other survivors include three sons: Gary Burgett, Nashville, Tenn. and Terry Burgett and Gregory Burgett, both of Topeka; and three grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tues. at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery at St. Marys. Mrs. Burgett will lie in state from 5 until 9 p.m. Monday at Brennan Funeral Home in Topeka where a parish prayer service will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday.
