Vande Velde—Flatt

Sherryll L. Vande Velde and Steven W. Flatt exchanged wedding vows at 7 p.m. Nov. 29 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Delia. The Rev. John Erickson officiated.

Parents of the bride are Bernard and Roberta Vande Velde. The bridegroom is the son of Douglas and Janet Flatt.

Attending the bride were Linda Tinsley, Robbyn Vande Velde and Sandy Holzmeister, Topeka; Sue Ingenthron, Enid, Okla.; and Cathy Goodger, Lenexa. Attending the bridegroom were Scott Strobel, Lawrence; Tom Phillips, Kansas City; Kent Crabtree, Tulsa, Okla.; Phil Thompson, Chicago; and Tim Flatt.

Mrs. Flatt is a graduate of Hayden High School. Mr. Flatt is a graduate of Topeka High School. He received a degree in political science from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree in business administration from West Texas State University. He is employed by Beneficial of Louisiana, Lake Charles, La.
