Carwile-Hallmark Wedding Held in Virginia

The marriage of Miss Brenda Jean Carwile to Alan Bruce Hallmark took place at two o'clock on March 17, 1979, at Euclid Christian Church in Lynchburg, Va. The Reverend Joe Detamore officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

Miss Marie Carwile, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. William Graham, Hampton, Va., and Miss Maura Wilson, Richmond, Va.

Mr. David Hallmark, brother of the groom, Frankfort, served as best man. Ushers were Carl Brothers, Baileyville, and David Williams, III, Richmond, Va.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Carwile entertained after the ceremony with a reception in the fellowship hall of the church.

The bride is a graduate of E. C. Glass High School in Lynchburg, and received a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Longwood College in Farmville, Va.

The groom is a graduate of St. Marys High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Kansas State University.

Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Hallmark entertained Kansas relatives and friends with a reception at the Rossville Community Center on Saturday, March 24.

The couple is now living in Denison, Tex., where they are both studying piano technology.
