Marriage- McKown, Disca-Kovar, Earl

McKown-Kovar Vows in Liberty, Mo.
Mr. and Mrs. James H. McKown of Liberty, Missouri, announce the marriage of their daughter, Disca Ann, to Earl Eugene Kovar, of Rossville. Mr. Kovar is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Kovar.

The double ring ceremony was solemnized at 10 o'clock Saturday morning, June 18th, at the Second Baptist Church in Liberty by the Rev. W.C. Link, Jr. in the presence of the immediate families.

The bride wore a white dotted swiss nylon and organdy waltz-length gown and a finger-tip veil of illusion. She carried a white orchid and blue lace handkerchief. Her neckline was a cameo.

The maid of honor was Miss Betty Kovar, sister of the groom. Miss Kovar wore a blue dress and a corsage of white roses.

Mr. Robert Rafferty of Topeka, Kansas, was the best man for his brother-in-law.

A small reception was held at the church with Mrs. James Mihlhauser, sister of the bride, and Mrs. Robert Rafferty, sister of the groom, serving, Miss Bonnie Mace of Liberty presided at the guest book.

The couple left for a short honeymoon in the Ozarks. Mr. Kovar returned to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and Mrs. Kovar returned to work at Research Hospital in Kansas City where she is evening supervisor.
