Rolan-McDaniel Wedding
Held August 7
Miss Tammy Rolan and Mr. Jerry McDaniel exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, August 7, 1982, at 4 p.m. in the United Methodist Church, St. Marys. The Reverend Gary Beach officiated. Parents of the couple are Sally Beseau, St. Marys, and Jim Rolan, Des Moines, Ia.; and Lavonne and Jim McDaniel, Rossville.

Attending the bride were Sharon Fryberger and Tina Beseau. Becky Wehner was flower girl. Mike Fryberger was best man for the groom, and Rick McDaniel was a groomsman. Ring bearer was Jeremy McDaniel.

The bride and groom chose blue and white for their colors and they were carried out in the color of the attendants’ clothes as well as in the flowers. Tammy carried a colonial bouquet of blue carnations, white daisies, baby’s breath and greens. The groom wore a blue carnation boutonniere with his white tuxedo. Altar flowers were blue carnations and white daisies.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Hammond Hall in St. Marys. A dance at the American Legion Hall in Rossville was held that evening.

The couple is at home in Rossville. Mrs. McDaniel works at Swirly Top and Mr. McDaniel is employed by the Mainstreeter Restaurant.
