Marriage- Brock, Sheila-Stueve, Alan
Brock-Stueve vows spoken
at Sacred Heart in Delia
Sheila Brock became the bride of Mr. Alan Stueve on Dec. 27 at 6:30 p.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Delia, with Fr. Alfred Rockers officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin J. Brock, Delia. Mr. Stueve is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Stueve, Axtell.
The bride made her wedding gown which was fashioned of embroidered nylon over satin with a stand-up collar. The full, sheer sleeves were caught in a wide cuff. The cathedral-length veil was edged with wide lace and dotted with seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of red roses and baby’s breath.
Debrorah Brock was her sister’s maid of honor, and Linda Stueve, sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid.
Mark Stueve was best man for his brother, and Tim Brock, brother of the bride, was groomsman. Paul Stueve and Dan and Dave Brock, brothers of the couple, served as ushers.
The organist was Alma Stueve, sister of the bridegroom, and soloist was Gregory Brock, brother of the bride. Serving at the nuptial Mass were David and Earl Stueve, brothers of the bridegroom; Joe Stueve, an uncle, was the reader.
A reception was held at the Delia Elementary School following the ceremony.
The bride is employed by the State Department of Revenue. Mr. Stueve is employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and attends Washburn University.
