Carol Gwen Rissen and Christopher Alan Tomson were united in marriage in a 2 p.m. ceremony May 7, 1994, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St, Marys. The Rev. John Erickson officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Ron and Charlene Persinger. Osage City, and the late Wayne Van Schaick. Mr. Tomson is the son of Gary and Sandy Tomson. Rossville.

Cheryl DuBois. Burlingame, was her sister's matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Monica Thielenhaus and Cathv Reedy, both of Topeka Jessie Lloyd. Topeka, was the flower girl.

Mike Hammes, Topeka, was best man. The groomsmen were Kerry Marney. Delia, and Vernie Catron, Rossville. The ring bearer was Trey Patrick. Burlingame

Reception table attendants were Sarah Lea Fazio and Mary Hoke, both of Topeka; and Linda Hart, Oskaloosa. Jill Tomson and Christi Tomson, both of Rossville, were guest book attendants Janice Black. Topeka, was the wedding coordinator.

The bride is a graduate of Osage City High School. She is employed by Luce Press Clippings in Topeka.

Mr. Tomson is a graduate of Rossville High School and Beloit Teehieal College with a degree in diesel and heavy equipment mechanics. He is employed by Martin Tractor Co. in Topeka.

The couple honeymooned in Branson, Mo.
