Kelly is a graduate of Francis Marion University, Florence, SC, with a bachelor's degree in graphic design.

Garrett is a graduate of Washburn University with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.

The couple is planning a sunset ceremony at Lake Wabaunsee, Kansas, October 14.2006.
