Obituary- Crowl, Vivian 2

Vivian E. Crowl 88, of Topeka, died Monday, January 27, at Rossville Healthcare Center. Vivian was born July 15, 1925, in Broken Bow, Nebraska, to Robert Thorpe and Sarah Edmunds Thorpe. Vivian completed high school in Broken Bow, nurse training in North Platte and started working as an RN. She married George Crowl Jr. in 1948 and the two continued their careers in Kansas City and retired in Topeka. Vivian is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert, sister Naomi and husband George. She is survived by her son Stephen (Lynda) Crowl, grandson Spencer Crowl (Austin, Tx) and granddaughter Ashlee Crowl (Kansas City). Services will be at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 17th and Gage in Topeka Saturday morning March 15, 2014. Memorial contributions may be made to St. David’s Episcopal Church.
