Nancy was the third of six children born to William WESTFALL (1791-1852) and Rebecca SLADE Westfall (1794-1853).

She was married to John Jeremiah HARTZELL (1815-1852) on January 26th, 1841 in Darke Co., OH.

Their children together were:

Noah HARTZELL (abt 1842)
Phillip HARTZELL (1843-1919)
David HARTZELL (1844-1937)
John J. HARTZELL (1846-1868)
Josiah HARTZELL (1849-1853)
James A. HARTZELL (1851-1853)

After John's death Nancy married Jacob Fetters who helped raise her 2 younger boys.
