_____

W. P. CLARK

William Perry Clark, 63, died Tuesday night, Feb. 22, 1944, as he was being taken to a Topeka hospital. He was found by relatives on the porch of the George Line farm house west of town, helpless from a paralytic stroke. How long he had been there is a guess. Mr. Clark had been taking care of the Link stock while he was away on a visit.

Mr. Clark batched in the little 2-room house on Navarre street, owned by Beulah McIntyre. He was born April 7, 1881, in Wabaunsee County, near Maple Hill.

He is survived by two brothers, Harvy Clark, Topeka; Fred Clark, Maple Hill; and three sisters, Mrs. Fred Kitt, Topeka; Mrs. Flora Wilson, Maple Hill; and Mrs. Lizzie Tiffy who lives in Iowa. The body was taken to Penwell Funeral Home at Topeka. Funeral services were held today at Maple Hill.
