Mrs. Katherine Cless
Mrs. Katherine L. Cless, 85, longtime resident of Rossville, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon at her home in Rossville. She collapsed shortly after returning home from visiting a neighbor. She had returned home Saturday after visiting a son in Hutchinson.
Mrs. Cless was born July 25, 1871, and was the wife of the late Charles Cless, veteran Rossville hardware dealer who died last December. She was a member of the Rossville Christian Church and a life member of the Rossville Literary and Music Circle.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. T.V. Sigler, Fort Sam Houston, Texas; two sons, Clyde H. Cless of Hutchinson, and Archie R. Cless, Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Whitney, Humboldt, Neb., and Mrs. Dora Presgrove, Tecumseh; a brother, Charles Abbott, Shattuck, Okla.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
