Shower Held For Suzy Allen
No rain was reported in Topeka on Sunday, July 26, but there was a shower reported at 3507 S.W. Twilight Drive in Topeka at the home of Mickey Shannon. Mickey, along with the help of Debbie Allen of Route 8, Topeka, held a bridal shower in honor of Suzy Allen who is to become the bride of Stan Thompson on Sunday, August2.

Sixteen friends and relatives attended the shower. They were: Helen Thompson, Lindy Davis, Dorothy Davis, Carolyn Sage, Beverly Martinek, Lavina Allen, Jo Peters, Kay French, Nina Herd, Linda Meyers, Nancy Jennings, Sybil Deiter, Mickey Shannon, Debbie Allen, Suzy Allen, and Ginger Allen.

Games were played, followed by refreshments of cake and ice cream.
