Mrs. Twila Catron
Mrs. Twila Catron, 71, 924 Golden, died Saturday at a Topeka Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born Aug 3, 1908, at Morrill, the daughter of Charles W. and Nora C. Jackson Flickinger, and lived in Topeka since 1925.
Mrs. Catron was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church.
She was married to Donald Blinn Catron July 15, 1932, at Lawrence. He survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Bonnie L. Renfro, Bossier City. La., Mrs. Norene A. Ketcherside, McPherson, and Mrs. Nadine A. Gilbert, 3428 S.E. Pueblo Place; four sons, Benny D. Catron, Mayetta, Donald B. Catron Jr., 2121 Carnahan, Charley W. Catron, 4542 N.W. 35th and Harley Catron, 3750 N.E. Croco Road; a sister, Mrs. Aletha Sharp, Holliday, Mo.; two brothers, Glen Flickinger, Phoenix, Ariz. and Dale Flickinger, 1114 Harvey; 23 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Newcomer-Diffenderfer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka. The family will meet with friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Highland Park United Methodist Church, 2914 Michigan, Topeka, 66605.
