Bridal Shower- Parr, Lois

Misses Ruth Miller and Helen Mason entertained at a shower Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Wayne Miller, at the home of Mrs. Sherman James. After a few interesting games were played the bride was asked to go to a decorated Christmas tree and clip the cards which were hanging thereon. On the cards were written rhyming verses telling where to find the hidden gifts. These were hidden in various places about the house. The bride read the verses aloud and then proceeded to hunt for the gifts. Mrs. Miller received many lovely and useful articles. Dainty refreshments were served. Gifts were received from Mrs. Joe Parr sr. Mrs. A. A. Cless, Mrs. Charity James, Mrs. Joe Parr jr., Mrs. Ina James, Mrs. Charley Parr, Mrs. Blanche Davis, Mrs. S. 0. Parr, Mrs. A. S.
