Bridal Shower- Skidmore, Bertha

An interesting social event of the week at Willard was the delightful party given in honor of Mrs. Ralph Martin, who before her recent marriage was Miss Bertha Skidmore. She was complimented with a miscellaneous shower last Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Gladis Skidmore. The hostess was assisted by Miss Edna Martin. The afternoon was spent in playing games after which refreshments of cake, jello and coffee were served. The bride, who is attractive with a pleasing personality, received many useful gifts. The guests included Mrs. Henry Martin, Mrs. M. E. Skidmore, Mrs. Julia Bowen, Mrs. Calvin Rankin, Mrs. John Martin, Mrs. Carl Harshbarger, Mrs. V. C. Sage, Mrs. Paul Rogers, Mrs. Emily Jackman, Mrs. Gertie Lloyd, Mrs. Paul Martin, Mrs. Kate Bush, Mrs. Joe Skidmore, Mrs. Hal Hosack., Mrs. R. G. Lewis, Mrs. D. R. Stitt, Mrs. Albert Hawkins, Mrs. R. Simons, Mrs. I. S. Lauck, Mrs. Ralph Pitts jr, Misses Edna Martin, Roxie Mitchell, Bonnie Martin, Catherine Martin, Pauline Skidmore, Mary and Pauline Martin.
