Katherine Diane Bowers and Frederick Richard Budden were married at 2 p.m. Jan. 11 at Sacred Heart Church, Delia. The Revs. John Erickson and Gary Beach officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Lawrence A. Bowers, Delia. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick H. Budden, Tecumseh.

Attending the bride were Marilyn Brennan, St. Marys; Sally Price, Tecumseh; Angela Whittle, Wichita; and Brenda Brennan. Attending the bridegroom were Roy Bird, Auburn; Warren Sickel, St. Marys; Alvie Price, Tecumseh; and Leon Rueter, Burnsville, Minn.

Mrs. Budden graduated from Holton High School and Washburn University with an education degree. She teaches first grade in U.S.D. 337, Hoyt. Mr. Budden graduated from Shawnee Heights High School and Kansas State University with a degree in music education and a master’s degree in music. He teaches vocal music at St. Marys Grade School and St. Marys High School.
