Marriage- Coffey, Phyllis-Stadler, David

Miss Phyllis Coffey and David Stadler were united in marriage Sunday, August 20, at the Rossville Christian Church.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. J. R. Coffey, Rossville. The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. George Stadler.

Ben Duerfeldt, former pastor at Rossville Christian Church, read the double ring marriage service. He was also soloist accompanied by Mrs. Duerfeldt at the piano.

The bride wore a lovely gown of finest silk organza, highlighted by a massive renaissance draped skirt frosted with scattered appliques of sequin sparkled Chantilly lace above a sweeping chapel train. The fitted bodice was designed of the same lace having short dainty sleeves and high rounded neckline.

Her crown of beaded pearls was of spiral design with alternate aurora borealis crystals. English illusion veiling fell from the crown.

Mrs. Jerry Perry, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and Helen Stadler, sister of the groom, was the bridesmaid. They wore chambray styled' with full skirt, short sleeves and rounded neckline. The waistline was accented with pink satin wrap-around sash. They wore matching headbands of pink satin trimmed with pearls and a; short veil.

Jane Coffey was flower girl and candles were lighted by Melissia Holz and Rose Marie Stadler. They wore dresses of the same style and color. Their headbands were of pink satin, trimmed with pearls.

Edward Lloyd served as best man and groomsman was Fred Coffey, brother of the bride. Ushers were Charles Harth and Jerry Perry. Howard Parr was ring bearer.

The reception, immediately after the ceremony, was in the community center. Those assisting were Mrs. Fred Coffey, Mrs, J. L. Bruce, Janet Harth, Linda Rezac. Mrs. Mac Redmont, Ruth Miller and Mrs. Edward Lloyd.

The couple is at home in Rossville following a short trip.

The bride is employed by the Kansas Inspection Bureau in Topeka. The bridegroom is self-employed.
