Member of Star Force Weds Prominent Young man.
Monday morning at 8:15 a very pretty wedding was solemnized at the Immaculate Conception Church by Reverend Father McNeive, when Miss Anna Farrell and James Pearl were united in lawful matrimony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Farrell of this city, and is a very popular and charming young lady. She is a graduate of the Immaculate Conception high school here, and attended Spaulding's Business College for some time in Kansas City. She worked in the Star office for several years in this city thus proving very satisfactory, and gaining a host of friends.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Pearl living south east of town. He attended the St. Mary's College here and afterwards completed a business course at Strickler's Business College in Topeka. He is now employed in a clothing store here.
The bride was attended by Miss Anna Eichman of this city; and the groom by his brother, John Pearl.
The bride was attired in a beautiful dark purple broadcloth suit trimmed in fur, and a purple velvet hat trimmed in fur to match. She carried a bouquet of violets.
The bridesmaid was dressed in a blue serge suit hat trimmed in white fur; her bouquet was a bunch of violets.
The young couple left Monday afternoon for Kahoka, Mo., to visit friends of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Calvert. They will be gone about two weeks.
A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Farrell, to the immediate relatives.
There were about thirty-five relatives present at the wedding. The out of town guests were: Miss Veronica, John and Joe Sage of Topeka, Kan., Mr. and Mrs. John Glynn, of Emmett.
The young couple have gained for themselves a host of friends here who are glad to learn of their marriage and wish them an ocean of joy and prosperity.
They will be at home on Mission Street in the D.E. Painter property after October 1st.
The groom, Mr. Pearl is one of the most promising young business men in our city, courteous...
