Attending the bride was Virginia McCall, aunt of the bride, maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sheila Salfrank, Maple Hill, and Donna Womack, Rossville. The attendants wore matching floor-length dresses of burgundy rose printed, cotton voile, with scoop necklines, leg of mutton sleeves, v-shaped waistlines,
pioneer skirts with a large ruffle at the hem. They were accented with ivory lace trim and burgundy velvet ribbon. All wore flowers in their hair and each carried a long stemmed burgundy rose.
John Fleming, friend of the groom, was the best man. Rusty Stetzil and Keith Shea, friends of the groom, were attendants. All wore Army dress greens. The boutonnieres were white tipped burgundy carnations.

The groom wore his Army dress greens. His boutonniere was a white rose with baby’s breath.

The bride’s brother, Chip McLain, and the bride’s uncle, Tim McCall, were ushers. Blake Meyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Meyer, Rossville, was ringbearer. Flower girl, Angela Wehner, friend of the bride, wore a dress matching those of the bridemaids and carried a white eyelet, lace basket with burgundy ribbon, made by the bride’s mother, she dropped burgundy rose petals in the aisle.

Stuart Smith, cousin of the bride, and Brad Wege, friend of the couple, were candlelighters.

Rita Umshied, Wamego, and Sheila Conlee, Ogden, friends of the bride, attended the guest book.

Singers at the wedding were all classmates of the bride. Mark Brooks and Laurie Lutz started the ceremony with “The Wedding Song,” followed by Jeff Taylor, cousin of the bride, who played his guitar and sang “You Take My Breath Away.” The bride then sang “Colour My World,” to the groom after the unity candle was lit.
