The wedding of Amy Kathleen Meade and Les E. Pelfrey took place June 3 in Sacred Heart Church, Plainville. The Rev. Emil Labbe officiated.

Parents of the couple are Harlan and Nancy Meade, Plainville; and Gene and Ila Pelfrey, Rossville.

Attending the bride were Molly Markley, Minneapolis, Minn.; Amy Becker, Plainville; Dawn Rempe, Powderly, Texas; and Mindy Bruce, Galva. Flower girl was Sara Pelfrey, Rossville. Attending the bridegroom were Kevin Dick, Lance Stadler and Randy Pelfrey, Rossville; and Bill Bergin, Hawaii. Ring bearer was Christopher Meade. Candle lighters were Cathy Pearson, Dodge City; and Michelle Majerus, Junction City. Ushers were Todd Hughes, Scott City; Kevin Vondekamp, Wichita; and Paul Meade, Overland Park.

The bride graduated from Plainville High School and Kansas State University where she majored in marketing and received a degree in business. She is an admission representative for Kansas State University. The bridegroom graduated from Rossville High School and Kansas State University where he received a degree in animal science. He is studying veterinary medicine at Kansas State University.
