Marriage- Miller, Ellen-Howey, Kenneth
MILLER—HOWEY
The marriage of Miss Ellen Miller daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl D Miller, 927 N. VanBuren street, Topeka, to Mr. Kenneth S. Howey, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Howey, of Elmont, was quietly solemnized, Saturday evening at 8:30 o’clock at the Howey home in Elmont. The Rev Richard Fisher read the service in the presence of the immediate members of the family.
Preceding the ceremony Mrs. William Howey and Mrs. Howard Howey sang a duet and Mrs. William Howel played the accompaniment and the wedding music.
The attractive bride wore a gown of King’s blue silk crepe with matching turban and carried a bouquet of Joanna Hill roses and a lace handkerchief, which belonged to her grandmother. The only attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jordan of Topeka. Mrs. Jordan wore a gown of chestnut brown and carried Talisman roses.
Mrs. Howey is a graduate of Rossville high school and Mr. Howey is graduate of Seaman high school. Following a short wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Howey will be at home Elmont.
