Marriage- Rezac, Linda-Dayton, John 2

Rezac-Dayton Vows Said in Rossville Presbyterian Church

Linda Leigh Rezac and John W. Dayton, both of Rossville, exchanged marriage vows at 2 p.m. May 29 in the Rossville Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Donald Sears officiated at the double ring ceremony.

Mrs. J.C. Campbell was organist and Mrs. Don Berkey, soloist. Kathy Dayton, sister of the bridegroom, lighted the candles.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. James E. Rezac and Mr. and Mrs. C.G. Dayton, all of Rossville.

The bride's father gave her in marriage. Her gown of silk organza over taffeta, fashioned on Empire lines, had notched bracelet-length sleeves. The bateau neckline was trimmed with appliqued motifs of reembroidered Alencon lace beaded with seed pearls. A Watteau train was caught high on the back bodice by self-fabric bows. The train and the controlled bell skirt were accented with occasional motifs of beaded lace.

Her fingertip-length veil was held by a lace crown beaded with seed pearls. She carried a white orchid on a white Bible.

Virginia Rezac was her sister's maid of honor and Mrs. A.B. Lindwall, Wichita, was bridesmatron. They wore street-length dresses of pale blue silk linen styled on princess lines with square necklines. They carried bouquets of white daisies.

C.R. Dayton, Yorba Linda, Calif., brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Larry Barngrover was groomsman, and ushers were Danny Dayton, Rossville, another brother of the bridegroom, James Watts and Jack Springstead, Topeka.

A reception in the church followed the ceremony. Assisting were Mrs. Lawrence Brooks, Tucson, Ariz.; Mrs. C.R. Dayton, Yorba Linda, Calif.; Mrs. Herbert Trimble, Emporia; Mrs. Ernest E. Rezac, Judy Fauerbach and Bonnie Fauerbach, all of Rossville; and Martha Garretson, Topeka.

After a wedding trip to New York, Cape Cod and Pennsylvania, the couple will be at home at 1810 Lincoln, Topeka.

Mrs. Dayton received her master's degree from Kansas State Teachers College of Emporia this spring and will be employed by the Topeka public school system in the fall.

Mr. Dayton attended Washburn University and is employed by Forsell's Inc.
