Obituary- Conley, Vernon

Vernon S. Conley Dies of Heart Attack
Services were at 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning at Wall-Diffenderfer Mortu¬ary in Topeka for Vernon S. Conley, 62, who died of an apparent heart attack Thursday at his home in Topeka. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
He had lived in Topeka 42 years and was a member of First Christian Church and Orient Lodge No. 51, AF&AM. He was chief clerk of Santa Fe Railway’s freight claim department and had been employed by the company 42 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Irene S. Con¬ley, of the home; a son, Gerald B„ Conley, Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter, Mrs. Cynthia Ann Knapp, Rockfrod, 111.; a brother, James L. Conley, Delia; and five grandchildren.
