James, Leona Edmonds
Mr. and Mrs. James D. Edmonds, Rossville, will be honored for their 70th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 3:30 p.m. March 15 in the parlor of the First Presbyterian Church. 817 Harrison.

James and Leona Housh Edmonds were born and raised in Jefferson County. They were married March 18. 1922, in Leavenworth. They have two sons, David W. Edmonds, Greenville, S.C., and J. Harlan Edmonds, Topeka. They have four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren Until recently. Mr. and Mrs. Edmonds resided on their farm northwest of Topeka.
