Mrs. Katherine B. Zane
Mrs. Katherine B. Zane, 99, Ross¬ville, formerly of Silver Lake, died Sunday, June 25, 1989, at a Rossville care facility.
She was born Dec. 20, 1889, in northwest Shawnee County, the daughter of George and Christina Haas Hundertfund.
Mrs. Zane was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Ross¬ville.
She was married to John B. Zane Jr., in 1932 in Topeka. He died in 1954. A son, Robert L. Zane, died Nov. 20, 1988.
Survivors include a sister, Grace Buck, Palm Desert, Calif.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville. Crema¬tion is planned. Inurnment will be in Silver Lake Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys. Mrs. Zane will lie in state after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
